Quality and Health & Safety
We regard the health and safety of our workforce and customers as paramount and with this in mind operate a policy of continual personal development.
Our training is carried out through comprehensive tuition and ongoing assessment to give all our staff the skills and knowledge that they need to achieve the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Staff appraisals are held annually and we employ a full-time, NEBOSH accredited Health and Safety Manager. We are members of CHAS and operate and registered for ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001. We also provide full company method statements for each project together with associated risk and COSHH assessments.
We encourage our staff to work in a safe, effective and professional manner. NWP operate a 100% Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) assessment of our site staff and in addition to this our site supervisors are enrolled on the Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
NWP are fully accredited with OHSAS ISO 18001:2007 - Health & Safety Management Systems & have achieved RoSPA - The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents Bronze award.
